As a new graduate I worked as Engineer intern in Dibis Power Station/ Dibis, Iraq were I started applying the theoretical knowledge that I got from the university in performing chemical tests and analyzed the results for different samples of water and based on the results performed corrective actions, these tests included the hardness, alkalinity, conductivity, color, turbidity, total solids, dissolved solids, suspended solids. In addition to the tests on water I performed different tests on different types of oil and tested different prosperities such as viscosity, density, flash and fire point. From 2004 through 2007, I worked as a Water Treatment Department Manager at Dibis Power Station /Dibis, Iraq were I identified, analyzed and conducted resolutions implementation to issues related to water treatments, conducted Root Cause analysis to determine causes for water contaminations, performed production costs analysis and generated production progress reports, managed a team of eight professionals to assure compliance with proper water treatment activities inside the plant. Recently, I am working on getting my MASc in Industrial Engineering were my thesis focus is on the circular economy and how to implement an innovative way of thinking to get more sustainable products that can be used for multiple times before disposing it.
