I am an undergraduate student at Cleveland State University, my major is Operations and Supply Chain Management and I am pursuing a minor in Computer Science. My experience with the Lake Erie watershed has been mostly experiential and observational. In the twenty-two years that I have been a resident of Cleveland, the Lake has been a source of comfort, pride, and fresh water. Seeing first-hand how contaminants, invasive species, and most recently over fertilization can affect my Lake and its surrounding communities it is my honor to devote my efforts to trying to solve some of its problems. From an experiential point of view I have been a part of citizen science efforts at Old Woman's Creek, I have created clubs and led teams in high school and college focused on environmental sustainability, and I am leading a team in the Erie-Hack challenge that hopes to make a physical and cultural difference with the help of volunteers.
