Don Hayes is an Environmental Biology Technologist with 27 years experience in environmental legislation enforcement, project management, environmental treatment systems management with expertise in hazardous waste management and disposal Scott Abernethy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a Masters of Science degree in toxicology. He has worked in the environmental field since 1980 conducting research into the toxic effects of oil spill, developing laboratory toxicity test methods and conducting water quality studies of lakes and rivers. Dr. Ronald Griffiths is an aquatic ecologist with 44 years experience working on water quality and environmental issues in the Great Lakes, throughout Ontario, and internationally. He has authored a number of scientific publications and reports, as well as published a book on Water Quality. He has specifically investigated the roles of phosphorus, filter-feeding organisms (e.g. zebra mussels), and pesticides in the population dynamics of cyanobacteria and phytoplankton.
